I love my pre-workout as much as the next gym buff, but It's easy to forget you can get all the energy you need through whole foods. Especially when their this delicious! This Pre Workout Smoothie is packed with complex carbs to power through your workout and minerals like potassium and fiber. It's also great for a fast and easy breakfast if planning on an active morning, it's great on the go since easily digestible.

Like any good pre-workout snack, this smoothie should be consumed 30 minutes before hitting the gym. This gives the body enough time to digest the nutrients and have them available to burn during exercise.

 

Banana Walnut Smoothie Recipe:  

1 Banana

1 Cup of Non-Dairy Milk   

1/4 Cup of Raw Walnut Halves

1 Tablespoon of Maple Syrup  

1 Teaspoon Organic Vanilla Extract
